ERGONOMICS

Hand and mouse

Ergonomics in the workplace is quickly becoming just as important as overall safety is. In fact, one government agency recently issued a press release indicating that ergonomic injuries now account for almost 45% of all workplace injuries!

Ergonomic injuries happen over time. The symptoms start off with minor pain then can gradually increase to acute pain requiring medical attention, time off from work and even surgery. A workplace ergonomic audit will reveal potential ergonomic hazards that we can correct and change before anyone suffers an injury.

The majority of solutions for these problems can be relatively inexpensive and implemented quickly and easily. Office ergonomics is now one of the major areas of concern. Sitting in a static position in front of a computer for long hours can result in upper and lower body pain and injuries resulting in higher costs for everyone. We can work with your staff to show them proper ergonomic techniques and offer “penny wise” solutions for your problem areas.

If you believe that your office could use our help in improving the safety of you and your colleagues call us at (613) 384-2230 or email us using the form below. We can arrange a time for us to get together and discuss what can be done to improve the Ergonomics at your business.
